Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book with you?

To book a makeup appointment or wedding, please fill out the form on the “Contact” tab. Please be as descriptive as possible including information such as your venue, desired time to be ready, number of people needing services, etc. This will help me better check my availability for your occasion, and I will respond to your message within 48 hours. All wedding and bridal services require a non-refundable retainer and signed bridal contract to secure your wedding date.

Do you have a minimum for weddings?

I have a minimum of the Bride plus at least three attendants for all weekend weddings. At this time I am not able to accommodate "bride only" bookings on weekends unless my minimum service amount is met.

Do you offer airbrush makeup?

I do not offer airbrush makeup. All of my applications are done using traditional makeup (applied with a brush or sponge.) I prefer the customization that is available with traditional makeup. When applied correctly, traditional makeup is just as long-wearing and lightweight as airbrush makeup!

Do you do bridal hair as well?

I do not offer hair services. I truly believe that your event will run smoothest when makeup and hair are done by two separate artists. I do work closely with several talented hair stylists, and can absolutely provide you recommendations on a hair artist I believe would be the best fit for you!

Do you offer bridal consultations? Should I schedule a consultation?

Yes and yes! I do offer bridal trials! Bridal trials are optional but  highly recommend. A trial is time to sit down and really determine what type of makeup look will make you look and feel the most beautiful on your wedding day. You might think that you want a full glamour look complete with long false lashes and a red lip, but maybe after discussing the details or seeing the look on yourself- it may not be what you want. During your trial- we will go over every detail that is relevant to your makeup application for your big day. Even the smallest things that you may not think of play a part in what look will suit you best for your wedding. I will keep a copy of all products and colors used that way we can recreate the exact same look on the day of your wedding. I recommend scheduling your trial about 2-3 months prior to your wedding day.

Can I book a trial before signing a contract?

Anyone is welcome to book a bridal trial with me at any time. Please note that I only reserve wedding dates with both a signed contract and paid retainer. I book for weddings anywhere from 1-2 years in advance. The majority of my brides will secure their date with a contract and retainer and then schedule their trial for 2-3 months before their wedding date.

I have a large bridal party! Can you accommodate us?

I require 45 minutes for all attendants makeup applications, and 75 minutes for the bride. For large bridal parties or weddings that can only allot a short amount of time to get ready, I do offer the option to add a second.artist. Having a second artist will cut down on the time it needs to get the entire bridal party ready. I only bring on second artists whose skill and overall aesthetic match my own. This is to ensure fluidity and quality within the makeup looks of the bridal party.

Do you offer "eyes only" or mini makeup applications?

I do not offer partial makeup applications. In order to ensure the overall quality and longevity of the makeup look, I need to do the full application. My full face makeup applications are completely customized, from full glam to very natural. False lashes are optional, but are always included in the price.

Will my makeup last throughout my entire event? What if I cry?

Absolutely. I expect some tears of joy on your wedding day. A true, professional makeup application will last the full duration of your event. I ensure to properly prep your eyes and skin and finish with the proper professional products to seal in your application. All the products in my kit were chosen for their longevity and high performance in all tear, sweat and weather conditions.

What type of makeup do you use in your kit?

I believe that having your makeup done professionally should be a luxury experience. Therefore, I strive to provide my guests with luxury and high performance products during their service. Some of my favorite brands in my kit include NARS, Dior, Tom Ford, Charlotte Tilbury and Laura Mercier. I do also use a variety of professional artistry lines such as RCMA, Graftobian, Ben Nye and Kryolan.
